Surprise your friends and family this year with homemade cards with a bit of pizazz!
I have created several step-by-step instruction sets to create fun and exciting cards for any occasion. These instructions contain photos for each step and contain measurements in both inches and centimetres.

The examples I have here are birthday and celebration cards – but you can make them for every occasion by using different colours and images.

A handmade card really shows how much you care about people – it shows that you have spent time creating something really personal. I really enjoy creating a card with a specific person in mind – it allows you to make it perfectly to meet their interests. Seeing a face light up when they see an inside joke, or specific phrase that relates to your friendship just warms my heart.

I have a few different card instructions on the site, with a range of difficulties to suit a beginner card maker as well as for those who have been creating for years. There will be new instructions coming in the new year too, so keep your eyes peeled!
Making these cards is easier if you have a trimmer and scoreboard, but if not, a pencil and ruler will work just fine. Once you have measured and marked where you want a fold, line up a ruler and carefully fold the paper along the edge of the ruler.
You can use paper pads to decorate your cards or draw and colour your own images. You can also use pictures from magazines, images from napkins, or even use images from colouring books. You do not need to spend lots of money to create homemade cards – just use what you have.
Now you can wow your friends and family with these fun-fold cards. If you do make one, please tag me! I would love to see what you create!
Sending love and hugs
