An elegant sympathy card that went to a friend’s family
This beautiful wood grain background is one of my favourites and is ‘Woodgrain Planks’ from Creative Stamps. Today I coloured it using @tim_holtz Distress Ink – ‘Ground Espresso’.
The flower is from the set ‘With Love’ and I think it might be an old set from Clearly Besotted. I coloured it using @tsukineko_official Versa Colour ink pads. The stem is ‘Green’ and the flower is ‘Old Rose’ and ‘Scarlet’. For the vase I used ‘Sky Grey’ to give the illusion of the transparency of glass. I added the water using my @tombow_uk marker 491.
The sentiment is an @averyellestamps set ‘With Sympathy’ and I used my all time favourite ink @ranger_ink Archival ‘Jet Black’. I popped it up on double sided tape to make it pop.
My favourite tools made this card really easy to create. My glues are @artglitter and @collall_1949 and then my double sided tape is @3m. I use my @fiskars scissors and trimmer in every project, they are incredible. Additionally, my @tim_holtz stamping platform makes stamping so easy! I can’t stamp without it anymore! For me personally, with my arthritic hands, the @wer_makers bone folder is essential to every project!
